And, likely today being Mother's Day makes the bittersweet SO much, all the more, impacting! BIG HUG and MANY prayers ...

I am an old Military man and have worked as a private contractor for the government for many, many years. I have been to hell and back with many forces, but the Marines are the best for more reasons than I can explain. They...WILL...take care of your son. I was a Medical Corpsman for MY Marines, and they called me..."DOC"
You are now my sister, and I would be proud if you call on me anytime you need to talk. He is with the finest of the finest.

Congrats!!! Atleast he picked the best. I did that 32 yrs ago and retired from it. Gave me a good education on people and life.

Moonlight...tell your son "thank you" for me. I am a military mom! Both my boys are in the service. It is very hard when they first join, but let them know how very proud you are of them!
