Could be, hard to say... I know I have days here and there but I don't blame it on the whole species.. I could date plenty of different men but it's not what I want so why settle? Been there done that, much prefer and respect my standing my ground and being willing to live with the possibility that there isn't someone for me... Exactly. You have to be able to tolerate the other person above anything else- dating and marriage isn't a quickie deal... it takes YEARS of exposure to the other person before you can even think of marriage and stuff. |

i am with moof on this one , everyone is in such a rush these days , where is the sense of discovery , the pleasure in taking the time to learn about people , now its along the lines , of "Hey your cute , lets go out" WOW that was fun , Lets play bouncey bouncey , WOW you can cook , lets get married " takes like 6 months , bah on that

i am with moof on this one , everyone is in such a rush these days , where is the sense of discovery , the pleasure in taking the time to learn about people , now its along the lines , of "Hey your cute , lets go out" WOW that was fun , Lets play bouncey bouncey , WOW you can cook , lets get married " takes like 6 months , bah on that Not only that, but it takes a LOT of patience when dealing with a person who you will be living with for the rest of your life. And a very big part of that is finding a person who is as patient with you as you are with him/her. Above all else, both parties have to be able to tolerate each other's failings and personality quirks. If you can't even do that when you're dating, then how are you gonna deal with the REAL problems when you're married? |
