In advocacy of the men being accused of Chauvinism,
allow me to qualify that the Media pushes Materialistic feminine virtue on us. MT-V, VH-1 (MT-V clone) etc. all ram the glam and bling life on us. This does shape thinking. Women always seem to have some kind of marked preferences to name brands to the extreme that if us guys don't conform we are gaged unfavorable. More often than not I bet money on if you seen me dressed for work you would think I was homeless because I refuse to wear good cloths for mucking out a pond or I am doing some kind of wall repair or installing doors. I bet if I put on a suit and lied more often then not women would believe it. I am sick of being thought of as being just a construction worker when I really am a hell of a lot more. People are superficial in general but the degree of it it varies. Hell, I know women who are absolutely hot but I want nothing to do with them because they are very superficial and I am not about to listen to how feelings are hurt over this poopoo because everyone has material expectations. He wants an arm trophy, she wants him to have a six figure income. Me? I would be happy with someone who contributes to the overall prosperity of the household. Finding a woman who really wants to partner up is RARE! It is always something on both sides of the fence. Frankly every last one of us suck. Some suck so hard they swallow! Now to throw toast and rice and... Where is my water pistol?  And now for the next episode... |

JT you're so much more than the simple thought process... huh? You are too smart and sweet to make and agree with a blanket statement... I'll give you SOME women are like that but not all.. I can't sniff a nickle out let alone a dollar for one and for two, I buy all my own stuff and support myself and I don't need nor want a man for that... I do however want a man that can keep up mentally and financially and if he's got it mentally then financially isn't a big deal as long as he doesn't spend more than he can handle and try to spend mine too.... |

I actually have met women of "practical" thinking. The ration is greater of practical thinkers vs. materialistically motivated women the further away you get from metropolitan areas. Don't get pissed at me for this observation unless you actually live in the city. I got more bumper living in Redding for five years than in a lifetime of living in Los Angeles. Even there I ran into social elite wannabees. Please allow me to ask how the recession (COUGH HACK GAG DEPRESSION) is affecting people's LTR's? He looses his job and now they are struggling and he is fighting just to find a job while she is carrying his (DEAD WORTHLESS) weight. Tell me that money does not tear families apart... AND IT TAKES TWO TO DANCE THAT TANGO! I admit there are gold bricking men out there as well and they have the depth of a kids plastic wading pool. The same jack offs have to have Hummers and rims. Work to them is a swear word. Hey. I am not perfect but at least I do got pride. I do have to go with the belief of women are generally materialistic. That helps me sift the good women from the Cottontails. Bad girls are fun too! Cottontails are worthless. Viva Amore!
