I know, I know we aren't around anymore, yet it would be interesting to see what the world would be at this time period. Of course there is the possiblity that we would blow each other up by then, but let us take it in the scenerio that we didn't and technological advances did occur.

What will be different?

I think with a push of a button your breakfast at bed or lunch will happen when a floating tray comes to your room with freshly brewed coffee, a glass of orange juice, eggs and toast with butter and jelly. All fake by the way but supposingly holds the same minerals, protein, and vitamins your body needs.

The fast food restaurant will be called MC Taco Burger Bell.

What else have you?

I'll stumble out of my house with my second cup of coffee substitute, pop the hatch on my hover-car, remember that I have to feul it up and go hook the electrical feed from the cold fusion generator in the garage.. on the 'road' I will pass by the last of the fast food chains, closing because no one bothered to eat there anymore, and head out of town past all of the organic farms, producing quite healthy because the soil has been cleaned up and the air as well. (you know, since we're working in a fantasy world. *laughs*)

There will be 40 billion people on Earth

Food is scarce so food substitutes will be invented in laboratories.

Water is generated by ocean water. It is still a little salty but good enough to drink.

A planet 6 light years away is the peoples hope and dream to go to. It supposingly has the same atmosphere as Earth but unsettled of any civilization open to many great possiblities.

One spaceship has been created to launch from the Chinesse Space station, where only the richest will be able to board the long trek in which they won't see the planet but their great grandchildren will.

The newest car is a cadillac supreme that shockingly uses little energy to drive.

Ready for a downer? There are no differences. Only because we will not be here to see them. I believe that what occurs is what we will allow. How can we know what will happen if we arent there to see it. To say in 130+ years we will be flying not driving is impossible because we could be doing so in 10 years. And we can say the same with the other concepts. There is no way to "guess" that far ahead only because it is that far ahead. Science doesn't allow us to and philosophy definitely doesnt let us either.

Think about the "Jetsons" or "Back to the Future." Look at what they thought about the future back then. The only thing either of those two were correct about was a black mayor which ended up being a black president.

You are right about that. We can't see the future, but we can imagine what could happen.

The thread is just to see what people might expect to see. If it really happens probably not, yet who knows maybe so.

I still think a Woman President will occur in this country one day, but I have no way of knowing that is for sure.
