Morning everyone...on the next to last day of my trip.. will stay south of Chicago tonight and have dinner with Elwoodsully.. Have met lots of great people on this trip.. Hope everyone is doing ok...

Viv, I heard parts of Texas are do for some rain is that you? Watched Niteline last night and they had a segment on horses straving to death in Texas because there is no grass and people can't afford hay to feed them. Devastating!! No, down here in the south west,we're still starving for rain. I'm not surprised about the livestock. it's one of the worse droughts yet.All of our surface water is drying up. |

I miss back there. I feel I am finally at a place where those here I thought I missed..was because, I needed them to miss me..they are so enmeshed in themselves..always have been.I know I am so different than them..so I am ok now..Also, it is that place where grieving actually becomes your own. |

s mother. We are all she has. Most of her family(siblings), are all gone. |

My mother has been gone since 2004..the day to the hour I pulled into the driveway with my husband after they sent him home with hospice..anyway..

Dad is here..I have 3 sis and 2 bro's in the area. Kitty and I are so out of the loop here. I have spent the last3 years getting on my feet, finding myself, losing weight..only to realize..I am too far from what is really me..MY kiddos, the grands..all back in there. It was necessary for me to do all this..I lost everything, was so very vulnerable...it was a safety to get on my feet, then I took in Kitty, and I am again at a different place..so..some challenges..still.
