Howdy All,

I, honestly, do not care one way or another if a person is fat or thin
as long as they are healthy and happy. If they have a good personality
and I feel comfortable around them then their looks do not matter to me.
So, why do looks matter to anyone? Aren't we as conversationalists
supposed to care more about who a person is rather then what they look
like? Some people do tend to give signals about their personality by how
they carry themselves and the way the dress. I guess looks do play a
roll With that in thought I believe that society does judge people based
on their looks rather than their personality.If that is the case then
when our beauty fades do the people who acknowledged us before fade as
well? Is that when a persons true character shines.

I think you believe what you are saying, but when a woman puts up a
photo of herself (maybe not on this site, but for sure other dating
sites) and she is heavy, the e-mails come to a screeching halt.

SheNerd: I am horribly, horribly unphotogenic. If I thought I looked
like I do in photos, I would do myself in. I was on match.com and had
all these guys writing me, but no photo. I put my photo up and they
dumped me so fast my head spun. It was a head shot, so it is not even
about my figure. I will never, ever forget that humiliation.

We should not judge people based on their exterior but unfortunately all
of us are guilty of this at times, but hopefully we all take the time to
look beyond the outside and get to know someone's true self. That is
what is important. I honestly don't care about the outside, I have dated
guys that were what would be termed bow wows, but they had the most
beautiful insides and in my eyes that made them the most gorgeous
beings. jmo
