Yes, you only fall in love once in a lifetime, and you can't love a spouse/significant other the same way you love your kids.

I think my perception of love is quite different from everyone else's. Love, to me, is a completely understandable, selfish pursuit of happyness. I think when it makes you happy to make the object of your affection happy, you're infact in love. It's disappointing, because it's a matter of perspective, and it's bound to change. Better to have loved and lost I suppose... so no, I don't think it's overrated, I think it's misjudged, misunderstood, and after awhile, simply missed. It's those moments of innocence that when you look back and think, I was cluelessly happy then.. haha
I think it takes patience to overcome those blissfully loving moments of time in a relationship gone real, and I think that's becoming more difficult when the general consensus is we are missing out a blissful love high relationship because we got swept away by lonelyness and started an 'insignificant' one. |

Do you think that love is overrated? I think, everything else beside love is overrated. Example: Me. |
