I've only truely loved one person in my whole life. We met when I was 18, he was 21. We dated on and off ever since then until 9/7/05 when he was killed on his harley by a driver not paying attention. It took me not only the past three years before I even felt ready to just meet someone and exchange a phone number. Well ok, I'm not over my loss, and will probably suffer from the pain of losing him for the rest of my life, but I'm beginning to be lonely and he would want me to meet a great man and to be happy again. I have no one to really talk to or to hang with except my kids, because all of my adult family members and friends are all married and have their own little family things to do every weekend. Which is what brought me to this site. I hate doing these types of things, but I'm at a loss on trying to find new friends and hopefully someone to at least date. I think this part of the forum is great, and I would greatly appreciate it if someone, anyone, and as many people as I can, both female and male just to let me know what they think of my profile, and any other suggestions they may have to offer.

First Beth...let me give you my condolences for your loss. Sometimes it's hard to get back on the horse, but I think we all gotta keep trying. Secondly...I applaud your honesty & candor in your profile...we can only hope that more people would be that honest. flowerforyou However...I don't know how long you've been on the Net, or what your experiences have been...but even though honesty is important...sometimes a person can be TOO honest IMO. Disclosing your health issues right off the bat might scare some people off. I'm sure that you don't want to be labeled or identified by your disorder, & putting it in your profile & saying that you could be fine in the morning & then suddenly very ill in the evening, might just be a lil too much...know what I mean? I am NOT saying you should be duplicitous...but perhaps you should let people know your personality, interests & passions first...& then disclose your illness privately. I'm sure some will disagree with me...but I have learned this from EXPERIENCE.

Anyways...Welcome to Mingle...have fun & play in the Forums...let us get to know you! Good luck! flowers
