not scared at all. Just because it has a name that reminds people of the avien bird flu(that is dangerous) is why people are scared. The symptoms are often less severe then regular flu.

Weird though...there's a bronchal infection going around my work place,it's some sort of contagious viral infection. Two of the older women & one guy all got real sick and ended up going to the e.r. or Dr.'s and had to go on that Z pack steroid to fight it. One other lady did'nt take care of it and ended up with pneumonia. (Did I spell that right?) |

i work in a hospital and trust when i say that there is alot more dangerous stuff than swine flu going around right now. (oops im not trying to scare anyone though)

Not afraid, but not taking any chances either...here in N.Y. a local high school has 3 confirmed cases of Swine flu . (Actually , the satelite campus is right around the corner from my home) They shut both campuses down until Tuesday and are asking if children with any symptoms stay home until symtomless for 24 hrs. I think I'm letting mine stay home until Tuesday at least! They don't even attend that school but, who knows if it's further then reported.
