What lead you to decide to try a site like mingles ? I don't know where Ducky is, but I am sure he would say lolipops

Online dating sites were recommended to me by a friend who had tried them. I chose Mingle because it was free. I'm glad I didn't go to a pay site because I'm pretty much convinced that online meeting/dating doesn't generally work.
However, I enjoy participating in the forums quite a bit. |

I can testify that PAYING was a waist of quite a bit of money, if the other person does not pay you are SOL. Yes community is awesome to say the least. |

i saw an ad on tv about another dating site and it seemed like some sort of utopia, so got curious about how these things worked. but i found out i had to pay...
so i googled free dating site and found here. i figured all of them should operate similarly. pure scientific inquiry

There are a number of reasons-
- Some rather internet-nutty friends of mine kept bugging me to try it out. - A friend of the family's kept chiding me into doing it but stopped short of actually trying to match me up. - I was bored. |
