sorry got sidetracked cooking dinner

No I was offered another job which has better hours, equal pay, way longer commute and benefits that aren't as good as what I've got.

But it does mean I'd be adjunct professor, could get my law degree at almost no cost and I'd have a normal work schedule and days off.

I just wasn't planning on doing the school thing again until my youngest was a bit older

Wow. Now that IS a decision to make! What're you gonna choose, Fiiiyyyaaaahhh??? what

don't know it all came about rather sudden since I was just looking at picking up another class or so at one of the other colleges since I had lost funding at the school I was at. So I have about a week to decide

Ahh. Well... if getting the degree will help you make more money in the long run, then you might as well go for the offer. However, if all it'll do is put up another squarish piece of fancy toilet paper on your wall, then it might not be the effort. I'd personally go for the money, first- all the degrees out there won't mean a hill of beans if you can't earn money with them. noway

Ahh..that is a tough decision. You gain some and lose some.

Yeah. That's most certainly true. Like I said though- I'd personally go for the money... the more-lucrative paycheck is most important of all, especially in this rather crappy economy.

I've got enough fancy pieces of paper on the wall...well not on the wall but still ya get the point.

I don't know, I'm interested in law but not quite sure if I want to be a Lawyer per se?

Argh!!!

A Lawyer??? Pfft- we've got enough ambulance-chasers out there as it is. We don't need any more Dewey Cheatem and Howe's out there stinking up the legal system. laugh

Fri 05/01/09 06:56 PM
