Totally off subject, but funny as as the devil.

I used to be a pipe smoker, smoked a deep rich cavandish tobacco, great aroma. Had just filled my pipe & was getting it going, putting of a pretty good cloud of smoke, in a restaurant.
VERY attractive, young wait., comes & stands by me. She starts complimenting me on my pipe, white hair, enjoys the smell of my pipe.
Now she was not our wait., so was kind of out of her area. Gwen said I was really enjoying her attention........wait for it.

Needless to say Gwen & I got a laugh out of that incident for years to come & I still do. Gwen was 9 yrs older than I, but looked 10 years younger than me.

Young women will always be nice to look at. That's just instinct. However, as I've grown older, I've prefered women in their 30's or later. For a few reasons: I've found that the female personality doesn't quit developing until their 30's. Women tend to get soft in all the most pleasing places sometime in their 30's. Also, they have a much better chance to know exactly what they want, what pleases them most, and the willingness to express that by their 30's.

For these reasons, I'd never date anyone more than 10 yrs younger and I'd prefer no more than 5 years. I'd also go 10 yrs older too.
However, I can still compliment a young woman. Sometimes a compliment is just that; it's not necessarily a come on.

On the other hand, most PEOPLE are creepers...so be careful.

a lot of the people here have good intentions, andfor every 3 of those, there is 1 bad one. dont take it too seriously. besides, you would have better odds of scoring a date by hanging out in a library.

But it's revealing when someone expresses the idea that "all people of x age are _______" -- as much as "Why do all men ______?" and "Why are all women ______?" threads do, this tells us more about the person asking the question than it does about ever finding a real answer.

Because there can be no real answers when one overgeneralizes to that extent. Everybody is different; every person is different, every situation is different. Exclude where you will, that's your right; but don't try to save face by blaming the profile viewers/message senders for being older. It's not something they can "fix" -- nor should anyone expect them to do so.
