i was looking for the article and got side tracked by the "regular flu" ...it kills 250,000 - 500,000 people worldwide a year!! that's staggering 
The 1916-1918 one killed 50 MILLION! That one was a swine flu too. But, that was at a time when there was NO treatment available. Now, there is treatment which I believe will make a huge difference

Okay...just saw on the news that there are 12 cases of it in Northern Alabama up near the Tenn line.

They have closed schools in Madison Co...that is Huntsville. And all daycares.

My family is in the next county over, probably about an hour away or less. Not only are they teachers, but they all either coach or play high school sports, including those schools in Madison County. Lovely!

I thought I was over reacting to this swine flu outbreak... In Egypt yesterday they needlessly slaughtered thousands of pigs for fear of cathing the swine flu from them.
For shame...

Why don't we just remain calm, drink our protein shakes, keep washing our hands and stickin' our heads up our ***** and wave hello to the Swine Flu stricken people coming over to the States thru Texas, California, Arizona, ... Yay! so if they come threw new mexico it is ok

Did you not notice the ... (dot dot dot) after the states I mentioned? That means Texas, Arizona, California, AND ANY OTHER STATE THAT BORDERS MEXICO. Guess what? That would include New Mexico.
