No but "real" close. I have friends all over there. It is really beautiful at that part. You can live on the lake there. i know several people who live on the lake out there, my boss has a home out there too!!! the water is beautiful and there is a disc golf course that is right on the lake. you are so lucky!!! |

What can we say Texas is well just different but when we leave we always come back not born here but have been raised here all my life. You are correct. I left for 10 years and still came back omg me too 12 years in alabama but came back home in 97 |

i don't mean to offend anyone... but living outside of the states, i've heard about texas predominantly in terms of things like the KKK, george bush, and capital punishment. i know that's somewhat silly and that's not all there is... but honestly those are the first things that come to mind. *runs for cover* |

There is good and bad in every race. KKK is well sure they are around but........Texans do not tolerate their actions or what they believe in at least not the majority. As far as capital punishment yeah we do believe and eye for eye. They choose to kill then fry their azzz. But hey unless ya come here to kill that will never be a issue for you. As far as Bush he was in my thoughts a good govern and was better at it then he was a president. But then that is old news too out with the old and in with the new. |

I have met a few KKK since being here in Austin, but I agree with ya, and as far as Bush is concerned I totally agree. He was a GREAT governor but, president no way. |
