Have you been to the spiritual world?

Perhaps in your sleep you felt like your soul left your body and went to fly to other parts of the world.

Perhaps your dreams seemed so realistic that you swear it really happened later on.

Perhaps you experience events and could of swore you thought of them exactly the same way as you are doing them at the moment.

Perhaps you can tap into a spiritual world meeting creatures unknown to the world.

If you have share them with us.

If you know how tell us how you do it.

If you think it exists, explain your reasons why you believe it to be true.

If you want to enter the spiritual world let us study the different possiblities together.

Do you have somekind of magical ability that you know how to use? Perhaps levitate while meditating, or you can read minds or tell people their futures, or maybe you know how to do something supernatural that people find astonishing.

Share your thoughts and ideas with us.

Well thank you so much for the kind words. I often see that many people just see the world in black and white when in actuality it is a world full of imagination in the most beautiful colors one can ask for.

So what unusual experiences concerning the topic have you encountered? That is if you have and wish to share them with us.

Is there a Spiritual world that exists on Earth that we just don't see for we lost contact with it as a whole.

The many fictional stories created to entertain the public has one thinking that perhaps with the ability to imagine in such a sense there is a possiblity to visit such a place while we are in human form alive.

To be able to see the Earth and its activities in a different perspective would be very interesting.

When I dream, I often feel I was actually there in this world I envision at the moment. Sometimes the dissappointments are large when one actually wakes up from them.

There are even many spiritual gurus of every background and belief system who claim it is possible. Are they delusional, or are they telling the truth?

One example I have read once is that the trees show symbols we just don't know or have forgotten to read. If we decipher its symbols by looking at the shapes of their branches words can be formed to allow us to chant them out loud to enter a Fairy World.

I like the idea of that!

yet what truth does this really hold?

Then of course we cannot forget that the billions of people who entertain themselves on a daily bases on fantasy, mythology, or other spiritual belief systems must have somekind of merit to it.

My friend yes these worlds exist here, you have to find that which is you, in that I mean soul search, becoz one realm does not exist for you does not mean it does not for another. All faiths are similiar and yet different. Its what makes your soul, your spirit sing that makes it yours. It is up to you to find the truth in all these faiths, if your lucky you will find it. The fact that you question tells me your search continues. I pray you find it.

I feel it is at the edge of my tongue and the entrance is near. There is a missing ingredient that I do not know of that is preventing me in finding this world. I shall continue the search as those on the other side are eager to see me.

Actually as ironic as it seems the spiritual world is right now on Earth, just we don't see it in spiritual form. As if you put on 3d glasses and (Puff) you are seeing a whole different world.

I know it sounds like Harry Potter, Dark Crystal, or even Spiderwick, but I think there is some merit to it. There has to be or why are there so many humans who can imagine it together?

If not then at least I can admit I have a extrodinary imagination and I am putting it in good use in my writings.

I did not truely discover where i belonged until I was in my early 40's, I think that it takes experiences of and in life to prepare you for your true calling. Everything works together but until you have experiences under your belt you probably won't or can't know even if was right in front of you. I fought within myself and when I finally became comfortable with who and what I was then it fell into place. From what you write I would think you are much closer thn you think. Magic is everywhere, in the buds that are now peeking thru, to the mating of the birds, to the seasons changing and the oceans waves upon the shores, it's all magic. And that magic you can hold in your hands and see without a doubt. I believe the Earth is preparing you for a much bigger job. Maybe it will be soon, as I know it can be frustrating to feel so close yet so far away.

What have you discovered to be true? Where do you belong and what reasons do you think you have living on this planet?

I have discovered that each thing, person or place has a reason no matter it's size, shape, beauty/ugliness, color or purpose. Without all things there is nothing. One depends upon the other, everything is connected. This I hold true. I know that there is magic to behold everytime a babe is born, a blade of grass grows, every morning that the sun shines or sister moon shows us her different phases, or when you look to the skies and realize there is no end, these things I know to be true. I know that the all knowing Mother of all things has given life to these truths, intrusted man with their care and we are failing miserably, thus more wars, more racism, more hatred of others becoz they walk to a different calling or religion, more starvation, illnesses, more severe weather, and natural disasters. I know this to be true. I know that there is no thing greater than love, in all of it's aspects. There is no greater feeling than being loved. I know that man is failing miserably with love. We give freely unconditonal love to a puppy, but can not love each other. I know that belief in ones self and the ability to achieve a goal is non measurable, it is magic. Belief causes change, it is magic. Oh but to walk in our ancestors world for a day, we would know these things, not question them. I know that one must truely learn to listen to their mind, their heart and their gut. If you have the guts to look truely within and face the good and bad parts, fix what needs fixing, don't be afraid to admit you need to change some things. This I know to be true. I know without a doubt that you must listen to your inner self, not shut it out, take a chance and follow what it is leading you to do or say, it frees your spirit. I know all these things to be true. Therefore is it not my place, my purpose to see that these things are taken care of, nurtured and loved? Yes I would have to say. It is my place now to give back, to love, to nurture, to protect and hold true to my ancestors ways. I am to a degree a seer, a fixer ifyou will. That is my purpose. It's been man's purpose since he drawed the first breath. Realize that not every man, woman or child will be sensitive, or knowing of this, so it is up to us that do know to teach, guide and nurture when we can to those who will listen, not all will. These truths I think is all our purpose.

A true seer you are and a very wise one at that. Thankyou for sharing your wisdom with me. This confirms (at least for me) that there is a world on a different spiritual level. I will find it soon and will continue to try to get in contact with it.

To be perfectly honest with you John I'm afraid to wield it.

I mean I do spiritual transformations in my own private life. And I'm learning and refining the techniques more and more everyday. The power is phenomenal. It's scary.

The problem is that it's like wielding a the sword of Excalibur. Yes it can bring you and others great pleasure. But it also carries with it the potential for great pain. And it's been my experience that the pain can be inflicted unintentionally. It's quite easy to poke someone's eye out with the sword of Excalibur totally by accident if one is not careful. You can stab yourself or someone else in the heart with it and not even mean to do it.

I guess I shy aware from the responsibility that comes with it. I'm not convinced that I have the discipline to wield it properly. Not that I would intentionally do wrongful things with it. But like I said above, power is power and power can hurt.

I've never had a lust for power. I think there needs to be a certain desire for power. Even if it's entirely for the purpose of doing good. I think a person really needs to have a strong desire to even wield good 'power'.

You asked for an example.

Well, a while back, 'I cast a spell'. Although, I'm personally not thrilled with that terminology. Let me phrase this differently in my own terms.

I cast out an emotionally charged wish into the ocean of cosmic consciousness. I borrowed various methods and techniques of 'witchcraft' from several different sources. It took me about a week to 'cast this spell' (or make this emotional request of the cosmic consciousness). I performed rituals, and made symbolic gestures, and included incantations and hermetics tailored for this 'spell'.

Being that this was one of my very first spells, I was willing to be quite patient. I did not expect instantaneous results. On the contrary I was very pragmatic about the whole thing. Even though I sincerely believed that the spirit of cosmic conscious would help me, I was still being quite pragmatic clinging to the idea that I would also need to help myself.

But that's not the way it worked out. My spell came to pass within the week. In fact, it came to pass so quickly and so profoundly that I almost didn't even recognize it! I simply wasn't expecting that kind of result that quickly. It took me by surprise, and I quickly backed away and rejected the results.

I'm not ready for that kind of power. It's scary.

I continue to learn and refine my magickal 'abilities' as they call them. Of course I have no magickal 'abilities' at all. The universe has magickal 'abilities'. All I'm doing is learning how to communicate with the universe, and the universe itself doesn't scare me at all. She's total love, I know it.

Like when I cast out my wish, she answered it. The universe wants to answer my wishes.

The question now becomes, "Do I truly want what I wish for?"

So now I'm taking things more slowly now.

I can imagine that this power that we can attain or better said this magick can be quiet powerful indeed. Here in Miami we have a large community of Haitian's who practice voodoo. Now when people hear of "voodoo" eyebrows raise up worrying. In actuality they are just unaware that it is a spiritual belief like any other. Voodoo can actually do great things for a person and of course bad things also. Some call it "white magic" and "black magic".

What I find of course interesting is you can identify a voodoo witch doctor and what he or she practices with the clothes they wear. Black clothes for bad magick making bad luck, curses, or other things onto others and white clothes indicates the person specializes in healing processes, having better fortunes, etc.

Of course many are just scams, yet I believe there are some that really do have the ability to do magic.

So yes your touch of magick that you are touching the surface with can be very powerful and scary nevertheless. Let alone if you are not in control of it. I personally don't have any experience in it, although I have seen it for I was invited numerous times to watch others use magic. I find it fascinating indeed and am always curious to hear stories about it.

I think you can actually go very far with magic and shouldn't be too hesitate on it. Without practice one cannot develop further in the studies of magick.

I would say practice and keep the Wiccan community or this thread informed. With over 2 million members and maybe 20 who ever post on the "other" religious thread, I am sure you will be able to share your experiences with those who have alot of experience in it.

It will develop in time and maybe you can tap on some interesting discoveries along the way.

I'm in total agreement. But there are things that magic cannot do.
Allow me to give you an example of what I'm trying to say here.

Suppose you want to fly an airplane. So you cast a spell to open up an opportunity to fly one. The opportunity opens up for you. Now, if you don't know how to pilot a plane you're in big trouble.

The magick worked just fine. But did it truly do you any good?

Do you see what I'm saying?

So, unless you're planing on flying an airplane without experience, you need to back up. You need to start waving your magic wand to open up opportunities to LEARN how to fly. The magick will still work. These learning opportunities will open up for you. But you're not necessarily getting your 'true wish' immediately. What you are getting is opportunities to work toward that wish.

What I'm trying to say is that magick will open up whatever opportunities you ASK for whether you're prepared for them or not. So you need to be careful not to ask for opportunities for things that you aren't truly prepared for. You need to back up, ask for opportunities to open up that will PAVE the way for what you ultimately want.

Magick isn't a 'cure-all'. It's just a way of opening up pathways and opportunities to get to where you would like to be.

Of course, like I say, magick can be used to get a powerful and final result quickly. If you're prepared for that result, then by all means go for the final wish. Otherwise, it's better to use magic to open up the opportunities that will help you to take smaller steps.

I believe everything requires learning, research, and studying. When it comes to magick one should take little steps each time and make sure you perfect a specific spell before going to the next step. I would say take baby steps each time. It looks like you are going exactly in that direction. Go little by little and before you know it you are a full pledged druid/wizard/shaman of magnificent knowledge in the arts of magick.

I don't tamper with magick, but I do want to master meditation one day. Meditation allows me to become more balanced with my decisions and allows me to find a new middle way in life. It provides clearer thoughts and a inner happiness. If I will ever reach this "Nirvana" that is so praised in the buddhist community is another question. I think many claim they have reached Nirvana in the first year of practice, but don't realize that they haven't. Buddhist monks seek it for almost all of their lives before attaining it, so I don't think it is as easy as so many claim it to be. I am at peace with myself and those around me, so this is a beautiful lifestyle. Everyone who knows me are always comfortable with my company and actually feel great when leaving as if I have provided them a new energy. So the wisdom of eastern philosophy and the constant practice of meditation has made a significant change not only for myself but for others around me.

Anyway, magick and spiritual experiences is also something beautiful to attain. It seems you have tapped into it and have found a new balance in your life. I am happy for you because for so many years you where walking a different path of a male chauvanistic way of lifestyle that brainwashes more then half of the world. I am not saying you where like this, but the belief system that you where a member was in this way.

Today as you are retired you now have made the choice to live away from civilization creating a labyrinth of peace, serenity, and harmony allowing you to reach out to the goddess. Keep us educated on what you experience. Even though I will not tamper with magick doesn't mean I don't want to learn its knowledge. It is a very beautiful practice indeed and its knowledge is beneficial to mankind to preserve peace and harmony with nature as a whole.
