Topic: Religion does not come from god. | |
---|---|
In the moment that the father created us from the fabric of the mother
he breathed into us the spirit of his grace. With that spirit he gave us gifts. The greatest of which is his love. Faith comes from god. Hope comes from god. Love is bequeathed upon us as a father bestows it, unconditionally. Love shelters us in all things could we but open our hearts to his boundless glory. Love builds within us when we wake to begin our day with his gift of hope. Love brings peace to our day if we but walk the path with faith he granted us as the second gift. The first being the breath of his bountiful spirit without which we could not live because of which we can not die. Freewill he has given us that we might exercise the gifts so given. Religion was givin to us by men seeking to bask in the glory that is god. In their vain imagining they have usurped his glory for themselves added their strident voices to his soft melody and shouted above the stillness of his loving contenance. |

True dat brother....
I have always appreciated the fact that the Bible does not dictate to us our religion but gives us many ways to receive his blessing and grace without getting involved with religion |

It really it came from man. In my religion, God is the essence of
everything. We all 'came' from Him. But religion came from man, because it seperates us from each other, which seperates us from God and ourselves, ALONG with each other. God don't want to seperate Himself. |

Well said AB, I absolutely agree

I agree AB, religions are made by men.
However, the love is given by God. |

The greatest gift.
The one least used in the world as it is now. Perhaps as each of us reaches another with this gift the world as it will become will get closer. |
