Heard them a lot more in PA than here in Florida. You only hear them here when they are trying to get vehicles to move out of the way.

Is there a state that doesn't have flooding, tornados, hurricanes, earthquakes, or blizzards?

I have been throgh 8 - 9 of them!!! I lived 30 miles from Hallma when the whole town was destroyed in 2004. it was a VERY scary sight, 3 of them came down side by side with 160 mile winds and they covered 3 miles wide for about 40 miles

mother nature huh... yeah she liked to wreak havoc on southern Cali when i was down there... been through about 5 wildfires. the latest one that happened about a year and a half ago was that last straw i lost everything and got fed up and moved to TN with some friends. i think 4 countys got leveled in that one. i know i didnt see the sun for a week cause of the ash, no one could do anything without getting heat stroke or or having lung issues. sigh... fun times

We tend to take them for granted here until there is major damage or loss of life then it puts the reality of danger back into it!!
