That is a good thought. Do you have family or anything there, or did you just go?

Yup. Having to move out of state when you got family where you live is always a pain. It just makes things more difficult.

It couldn't be any worse than it is here in Cali- the whole state's in free-fall NOT ONLY financially and industrially, but also medically with this Mexican Swine Flu nonsense, too. The idiots running the state into the ground here simply don't have a clue as to what to do to keep the state under control, and it's really showing in the public and media.

So DON'T go looking for a job out here, as people are gettin' the heck outta here in droves.

It's funny that this whole crisis has not hit Texas. I guess it has in some extent, but not near as much as it has the rest of the country.

Well... the states that are most affected are either the most left-leaning ones in the union (Cali, Rhode Island, Michigan, etc.) or the ones with next to nothing in terms of real industrial base in their economy (Montana, Oklahoma, etc.).

States with their own built-in industries, like Texas' oil refineries, have seemed to fare a little better than most. Also, Texas' loyalty to the the citizens of their state also make for a better economic outcome than others, as well.

Yes, and to think I use to not like this state. I now know how good it really is
