 Okay, here's how this works. Towards the end of every month I will ask for folks to be Secret Pals to someone for the following month. Presently, I am seeking Secret Pals for June. If you would like to participate, write me and give me your home address. Once I have the names of all who would like to participate for that month, I will assign secret pals. You must be willing to share your home address You are to send the person I assign you for that month a surprise, i.e., a card, a note, a refrigerator magnet, a bookmark, a lottery ticket, a postcard.... anything specific to that member or your area would be great, but it can be whatever you choose. Because of issues with packages crossing the borders and the cost involved I'm afraid I have to limit this to the US only. The list will change monthly, so if you want to participate again the following month, you must wrte me and let me know you want to participate again. This is a good reason to start a scrap book! When you receive something from your secret pal, come back here and let us know. |

Good morning Pals! The weather here today is perfect so far. Heading out to do some errands shortly. Then home to get yard sale stuff together, ugh what fun.

Good morning (((PALS))). Would you believe I had an invitation to go atving... of all weekends to be sick....ugh feels like the fates are against me. Talk about feeling frustrated. Today I can at least smell the vicks yesterday I couldn't. It's gorgeous outside and a part of me just wants to say the heck with it and go anyway. My mom came back from her vacation and at least she is going to hear what the docs have to say about having a bypass in her leg due to a big clot. For those who don't know... she told me before her vacation that she has lead a good life and I felt like she was giving up and not going to have the surgery. It's a good thing when she is at least going to hear what they have to say. My stepdad thinks he has skin cancer....and has an appointment in two weeks. I'm praying all goes well for both of them.

I received the most beautfiul organizer today from Sherry (DFT)!!
 I'm posting pics, but you cannot see the detail very well. On the front of it, it says, "Flowers In Bloom". Inside, on the left hand side is an address book, a place for special occasions, gift ideas, a calendar, Christmas Card List On the right there are lovely note cards. It also has listed the birthstones for each zodiac sign and a list of wedding anniversaries and what they stand for, i.e., 1st anniversary is paper, 2nd is cotton, 3rd is leather..etc. And there's lovely writing pen included. It's absolutelty beautiful. These photos do not do it justice. Thank you so very much!
