Anyone else sore and tired from yard work today?
It was 85 degrees and the yard still needed mowing.....  It's a good kind of sore though, the productive kind. |

I do one section at a time, it's easier for me.

YES - my yard guy ran off and I decided to do it on my own. OUCH!

Yard work? Nooooooo, I stayed in bed all day and it was everything I hoped it would be.
But I was alone so it really sucked! |

I don't do grass... cutting..... or flower beds anymore .. all that is planted comes back every year. so that ends those problems.

I mowed the lawn. Cleaned the dead leaves out of my flowerbeds. Sprayed the weeds. Planted some flowers. Chatted with neighbors. Then went to the gym and soaked in the jacuzzi. LOL
|

Best to make a trip down the yard, back up, then have a beer.............Do this several times, the pain seems to deminish.............

Had friends over for a BBQ, then later this evenin got some grass cut. Gonna take me a few days to get mine done. I had a problem with my mower that took awhile to get fixed an now the grass has gotten tall, requirin much more work to get knocked down. I anticipate it takin me the better part of the week if I do so much a day. I've got a purty big yard an a push mower.

Woke up this morning fit as a fiddle! The old hot bath did the trick, not to mention the couple of drinks I had. Who's up for some more yard work today?......

Yep, count me in.  Now if I can just locate my electric trimmers. They seem to be hiding. I had to send my gas powered stuff with my neighbor guy to fix. I can't seem to keep the gas powered stuff running.... Blew up the riding mower last year,hence the reason for 2.5 hours of push mowing...  Maybe I'll just take a big scissors outside and start cutting away..

wow heather, sounds like your h*** on power tools.
I'll be washing windows and planting some more flowers today. Then looking forward to a cookout this evening. I've learned I enjoy this work much more if I reward myself at the end of the day.

I don't get it. I'm never bored. Spread grub killer over 7 acres yesterday. Walked like 10 miles. I work 80 hour weeks hard labor. I'm fit.

I poured 3 tons of concrete yeasterday so yeah my back is aching
