Best advice I can give you no matter how bad you crave one no matter what the issue is DO NOT LIGHT UP!! Or you will be hooked all over again!!
Believe me I quit cold turkey 6 years ago this last January. I found that taking straws and cutting them into 3 pieces and carrying them with me when I got the urge I grabbed a straw. You see that motion from your hand to your mouth is what we miss just as much as that puff. When I was over that urge I threw the straw away and always had more with me just in case and I also found a hard candy that was sugar free that I liked as well to have in those moments. Good luck your on the way but remember once addicted always addicted only takes one and you've slid all the way back to where you were. Treat yourself once in a while as well from the money you save each month that you go with out smoking. It is always nice to look forward to something at the end of the month after a few months you no longer need that either. |

Congrats and keep it up! You just have to develop a complete hatred for cigs....I went 10 years without one and then started back up again because I didn't hate them! |
