At least he said he would do it:

On his show last night, Sean Hannity said he would volunteer to be waterboarded for charity. Putting his money where his mouth is on Countdown tonight, Keith Olbermann pledged $1000 per SECOND that Hannity lasts.

This I would pay to see.

Now. What are the odds that he will actually go through with it?

Not quite surfing. It is a torture technique used by the U.S. under the Bush administration in violation of both U.S. and international law.

I've heard the term "water boarding" over and over again on CNN and HLN, but they never explained what it is besides "simulating drowning". Ok so we have the water part, where does the board part come in? noway

You are "bound" to a board, so you can't move at all, usually with a towel over your face, while water is poured over the towel. You can't breathe without inhaling water, just like drowning. They watch you breathe and every attempt to is added. try it even in the shower without being bound.... not pleasant.

I would love to see Mr "My opinion is the only right one!" Hannity waterboarded. Thing is, while in any degree it is not pleasant, I would like to see it done to him by someone who has a grudge against him, it would better simulate the torture part of it than having a "friendly" do it.

I don't think the CIA is too nice about it when they apply their practice of it. Will they slam him into a few walls first so he's already breathing blood? Deprive him of sleep for 3 days first? Maybe "freeze and burn" (extereme heat and cold while naked) him for a few days first?

I say we give him the whole treatment for even just 24 hours! After all, his whole point is "it's not really torture" just like the Bush regime says.

It will be interesting to see if the chickenhawk actually submits to it. I'm thinking he'll come up with some lame "my network won't allow it" nonsense. Olberman is putting up $1,000 to charity for every second Hannity experiences it. He'll double the amount if Hannity then admits it's torture.

First, Torture isn't a joke, secondly, I assure you Hannity would never subject the most important person in his world (himself) to the real hardcore thing.

Haven't heard Hannity set a date yet. In the meantime, listen to this. Pay special attention to Lawrence O'Donnell's comments about why Hannity thinks torture works.

Was is "Waterboarded" Is it surfing?

Wiki:

Waterboarding is a form of torture that consists of immobilizing the victim on his or her back with the head inclined downwards, and then pouring water over the face and into the breathing passages. By forced suffocation and inhalation of water, the subject experiences drowning and is caused to believe they are about to die.

It is considered a form of torture by legal experts, politicians, war veterans, intelligence officials, military judges, and human rights organizations.
