Topic: how to break up with a really sweet girlfriend | |
---|---|
Hey guys,
The relationship hasn't clicked for a long time and I'm deeply bored. She loves me to death...and I would find her a soul mate if I had the chance. Just to ease the pain. Someone suggested mailing her a letter....but I would love some advice. Thanks All, Michael |

Can you not verbalize with her to break up? If this is a long term relationship you are breaking, speaking would be the upstanding thing to do.

Easy. Spend all her money. Sleep with her friends. |

Sometimes the truth is the hardest, esp. when they haven't done anything to betray you. Just be honest with her, tell her how you feel.

Just tell her you can't afford her and the lambo payment

Don't dare break up with her in a letter... Maybe write her a letter after breaking up with her just to explain things properly.
Just be honest with her and tell her its not working, if she is that crazy about you she will be deeply hurt anyway so just be straight up about it, no one can knock you for being honest. Best of luck. |

Tell her you're gay? Your profile says you're looking for a man for dating so I'm confused.

Like they say in the movies or song too.. if you love some one enough to let them go sometimes they might just come back.
All you can do is ask to meet and say you need to talk and go from there. Take a chance and hey the worse thing that could happen is you could change your mind or you want to get back together. |

You have to tell her. A letter can be so impersonable... and it may come across like she doesn't even get to respond. If she's done nothing wrong, she should get the chance to talk this thru with you. Sit her down and just be honest. You just can't help when you're not in love with someone.

Tell her you're gay? Your profile says you're looking for a man for dating so I'm confused. Well he did say he enjoys playing with phallus' or what not... IDK maybe he is just bi... that is abit confusing, eh? If you respect her any mister man then let her know in a fair way.. if you all aren't doing that LDR thing tell her to her face and answer all and any questions she will throw back at you.. if you are doing that LDR thing.. call her.. no text or letters or that BS. |

A letter? Oh please don't do that...
You've been thinking about this for awhile so you have already started your closure process. Honour her and the relationship enough to end it with some closure for her too. It still hurts but at least there is no ambiguity. |

email her that you want to break up.

Start with being honest and talking to her about how you feel. Don't do it in a letter.

Tell her you are looking for a man and that will solve the problem right there
