Wasn't the dentist nicknamed painless and then try to , in the movie?  in the movie,the name of the dentist is The Painless Pole and he does try to commit suicide with the help of Hawkeye et al this is during the "infamous" Last Supper scene be seeing you

Was his Dad down at the station When he reached Crab Apple Cove (Hawkeye) His Mama waving from the kitchen Was his cow down by the road (Radar) Did they throw a bash in Boston (Winchester) Were the little girls all grown (BJ) Did they turn out in Toledo To watch a man come marching home (Klinger) Klinger DID come back from Korea, he was in the show AfterMASH with Potter and Fr. The writing of MASH was constantly refreshed because of the change of characters Traper/Honeycutt & Blake/Potter & Burns/Winchester III (was there anyone ever better to hate than Frank Burns?)
