but happy to hear ladies experiences too.
So gentlemen, when you tell a lady friend 'we'll see' is that a hell no in disguise or a genuine 'let me ponder'? As it pertains to her taking you out for a nice dinner on yoiur birthday. |

Maybe he doesn't like birthdays.
to me it means he really so does not want to
But isn't gonna come out and say it cause he's afraid you'll rip his heart Out through his throat!!! |

nope, "we'll see" just means I'm not making a decision at this time and will consider it later

I would have to say it depends on the relationship.
Some men might think less of themselves if a woman pays. I myself love it when a woman asks me that. (hasnt happened in a very long time though. |

If I say "We'll see," it means I'm not thrilled about it, but you'll have an opportunity to persuade me.

i would not say we'll see i would say yes nothing wrong with a lady friend taking you out for your birthday my birthday is the 25th of this month and if my friend don't take me out i am going to be disapointed

I say it means he was planning that already and he did'nt want you to know yet ! Maybe you spoiled the surprise he was gonna spring on you by asking .Or maybe he had something different in mind !

When I say "we'll see" to anything, I mean "we'll see", NOT, "hell no".

Thanks Pete
I made my offer, I'm gonna leave it alone - up to him to take me up on it or pass it by |
i agree with pete, it might just mean i need to think about it, but it does not mean it is out of the question

When I say "we'll see" to anything, I mean "we'll see", NOT, "hell no". ditto, its a common fact that men can communicate in 20 words or less. While women it's 2,000 words or more... |

Does he have kids?
He maybe trying to juggle a few things to see if he can make it. For me it means I need to think for a few minutes at least. |
it means he's already planned something and doesn't want to spoil the surprise

No kids, no other plans (I asked) - so it'll be what it'll be
