We NEVER get that kind of snow here!
 ..we usually get ice first then a thin layer of snow. I wish just one time we would get a good snow so I could play in it.

 (((((friends))))))!  Came home pretty bummed today. We had a staff meeting at school this afternoon...2 staff positions in my department will be cut for the next school year...last to be hired will be out. I am second from the bottom.  Just when ya get comfortable, they pull the rug out from underneith ya! (Cuts are due to buget cuts...like everywhere else these days.) But...on the flip side, the special services director called me a little while ago telling me that our principal doesn't want to let me go and that the 3 of us will have a meeting on Monday. If it turns out that they can't keep me, the SS director said she will see to it that I am hired at another nearby school that is brand new and due to open in the fall. She said they don't have any staff yet and for me not to worry...(easier said than done!). This doesn't effect my summer school position...so that is good...and just one more thing I can add to my resumé. |

I am so sorry to hear about the first part of this, but like you say, it sounds like you will for sure have a position at the new school. I know you will worry about it.
