A Mississippi woman who was shot in the head not only survived but made herself tea and offered an astonished deputy something to drink, authorities said Friday.

Tammy Sexton, 47, remained hospitalized three days after being wounded by her husband, who killed himself after he shot his wife. A bullet struck her squarely in the forehead, passed through her skull and exited through the back of her head, authorities said. She is expected to fully recover.

*There is more to the story if your interested* I read this on my phone this morning and yeah you have to read this story.

The temptation to make a joke is just too much. I am forcibly removing myself from the forum.

"There is a space in the brain where a missile could pass without doing any major damage. Is it possible? Yes. It would be rare," said Dr. Patrick Pritchard, an assistant professor of surgery at the University of Alabama-Birmingham.''

I can't imagine how one could make a joke of this, so I'll ignore that, but a miracle? Hardly. I have read of people have survived gun shots to the head before, as discribed above. Lucky is a better word.
Nope, don't see a miracle but do see one good thing. The husband won't be a problem to anyone anymore.

And this woman didn't just lay there waiting for paramedics, she was drinking tea and offered the police some when they got there while she was holding a towel to her head where the bullet hit.

I would love to sit down and have tea with this woman drinker

With all the women killed in domestic violence each year, your divine intervention seems very selective. Make no mistake I am happy she survived, too bad so many more didn't. Guess there aren't enough miracles to go around.

Interesting. Why would you assume I am upset? I said with all the women that are killed in domestic violence each year, your god saves one? So that's a miracle? I say it's selective if you think it's a miracle. Why not preform a miracle for all the others?

Why is that so strange?
