I have a blog on myspace if anyone is interesting called 'cooking is not rocket science'. This is not for "self promotion" lmao. I make absolutely no money doing this blog. This is to de-mystify the ridiculous cooking shows on TV by personalities who have never worked in a kitchen and don't write their own recipes. Like I said 'if anyone is interested' still lmao. If you need a tip or an idea email me. Zmooch.

I am all about the cooking! I only have two in my household but feel deprived when I can't cook for a "big" group!

Turn down your heat on it,depends if you are cooking on electric,or gas?
You want it to bubble, not fry?

An always continue to stir.

Rue is easy.

Yes... Rue needs to be stirred constantly and to high of heat will burn it. then you have to just throw it all out and start from scratch again.

You start with the drippings from the meat,or with butter, you add flour,an you bring to a bubble,an then add your liquids, like milk
or stock to make a gravy.

sorry about the editsslaphead

Rue is typically used in gumbo, jambalaya, things like that. It's a mixture of oil and flour cooked together. Easy to mess up I will tell you that.

laugh no. Like I said before, it's typically used as a base for things like gumbo. It's cajun I think.
