Ok I just had a very creepy IM moment. Someone randomly popped up on my screen with an IM that said, "you sound great! I need you in my life. Thank god for Mingle2." I have never given my IM out to anyone on here. I also don't have enough in my profile to be needed. He has buzzed me nonstop for the last 30 minutes. I asked for his Mingle2 name to see if I had ever talked to him before. No, I haven't, and he has deactivated. Have any of y'all ever ran across this?

Just the people who don't participate in threads, don't email or even ask about you, but somehow think you are their true love. I don't get it.

Yeah, I have no clue how they got my AIM or anything. It's not even flattering when it's that creepy! haha

Ok...that's just weird.
I have had some freaky emails, but I have my IM turned off. |

I only open ims of people I know.

I thought they wouldn't go through if you don't accept them. Makes sense right? Well, this one just popped up, I didn't get the option to approve or deny.
This is my AOL IM too, not even the IM on here |

Well... some out there in internetlandvillage say that some spammers and weirdos are crafty enough to try plugging in your mingle2 profile name into IM to see if they're the same.

Ok, just got creepier, he msg'd saying that he plugged my Mingle2 name into AIM and prayed that it worked. When it didn't he started doing variations. What the hell? How do you block?

I get that a lot! They want to chat saying they saw me on Mingle2. I tell them to email me there. If they continue to IM me, I block them.

There's this really cool thing...it's called an EMAIL! Yes, but will you be able to hear my heavy breathing? Wait a minute! You can't do that in an im either! Now that's an idea - getting im's with voice capabilities! I'll get right on it! |

Yeh I get them all the time on Yahoo Instant Messanger saying they found me on Mingle. They talk to me for a while but never try to get any valuable information from me... they are really boring conversations, too. I still don't know what their motive is.
Last one I got was yesterday with the YIM name Sara Wales. They all claim to be from outside of the United States. |
