This is NOT to single anyone out...but what is up with all the list-making lately? Intelligence threads...Handsome or Beautiful threads...Sexy threads...Best Booty threads, etc...? I know a couple of threads were created tongue in cheek...hell! I made it on the Best Farter thread...
 ...but really...what is it about humans that we constantly need to be part of a Popularity Contest? I'm quite serious about this & again...am not singling out anyone...
But why, why, WHY? |

I think I've made the most despised list.

I'm with ya on this. If anyone here really truly knew me I woulda made the fartin list real easy. LOL H*ll, I have fartin contests with my 10 yr old for d*mn sakes. LMAO Maybe people are just bored for whatever reason. Who knows. I personally could care less if I make sumone's popularity list. Long as I'm special in that one person's eyes that's all that matters to me.

High School all over again :) But I think it's all in fun and noone really wants to hurt anyones feelings. |

Well i have made 2 lists lately, one, cos Dan cyber paid Drew to add me, and the other was the farter thread!!
Otherwise, i dont tend to be added to the most intelligent/sexiest/funniest just cos i aint up there with the clever/witty/hotties! Im average, and proud of it, i dont feel the need to be part of a popularity list. |

I hate the exclusionary message in it all. So immature, so base, so less than High School, ~ esp. for wouldbe thinking/considerate(?)adults. I'll not hurt someone else's feelings, while inflating another's ego. |

Honestly, I thought all those threads were just a joke. I didn't think they were actually serious when they started those threads.
I guess that's what I get for a$$uming again!

I don't take the lists as people being exclusionary. It seems to me they are just a way for the regular posters to show their friendship and appreciation for one another.

I don't take the lists as people being exclusionary. It seems to me they are just a way for the regular posters to show their friendship and appreciation for one another. That may be the intention, well and good. But many of those posters have other dear friends and it does create a strata. Feelings are a fragile, sacred ground. I believe that is affection best shown in emails and thread conviviality. Again, my opinion. I expect many agree to disagree w/ me ~ made obvious by the perpetuation of these inane lists! |
