Could be cool. I would love to hang out with you guys...the weekend issue is a bit tricky for me....(don't get me wrong, I got butt loads of sick/vacation days)...but, in my line of work...during the summer I generally work the weekends...(not that I am required to but, it ensures that I fufill my responsibilities)....so, put me down for a definite maybe.

I would have you pick me up but I am a stones throw away from Addison. I live right on the Addison and Carrollton border so I will be able to be there... just whoever is organizing this throw me a message of the time and where we meet up at.

Mayfest is set up for the music and crafts and very kid centered, but the great thing is that it is on the edge of downtown Ft Worth! There are some great places to eat close by and bars downtown for anyone who would want to enjoy the nightlife.
I would suggest that you find a central meet spot because the May fest is spread over a large area and finding people could pose an issue. |

Not sure what ya have planned yet I know the Mayfest in Fort Worth starts tomorrow 4/30 and last till 5/3 cost at the gate is $8.00 Adults and $5.00 for kids. Best place to meet is the front gate they actually have a bus that will take you right up to the front gate from the TCU area rode it last year with my granddaughter the bus ride is free or was last year.

Just and update for some as far as the Mayfest not sure they will have it they are actually talking about canceling it in Fort Worth due to the swine flu.
The Fort Worth school district is shutting down till May 11th heard that on the news tonight..... |

Well the Mayfest 2009 in Fort Worth has been canceled for the first time in 37 years.
Also the Cinco De Mayo in Dallas has been canceled as well. |
