Topic: I dumped him, but I still love him | |

Yes, I said to him not 'fu**ing' think about contacting me again. He always pisses me off by giving me nonesense excuses why he doesn't reply to my texts or calls. This is not the first time we break up then we make up again, then he makes me angry again. It sounds childish I know, but I miss him now and my pride is stopping me from apologising and taking him back. What do you think in all this my friends, please? If you dumped him, you don't love him. That's because if you DID love him, you WOULDN'T have dumped him. It's no different from that "I love you... but I'm not IN LOVE with you..." malarkey a lot of wimmins out there like to spout out- it's total horse-puckey as I have yet to see a woman ACTUALLY feel that way about someone. |

Moofooga, it is not horse puckey at all. Feeling love for someone but not being in love is completely possible. Love comes in different degrees and if a woman feels love it can be the same kind of love they have for a family member or a good friend and not fall into the catagory of "in love". Most relationships evolve into this kind of love after time because the "in love" dies. Especially if the partners stop actively participating in the "romance" level of their relationship. The danger here is if one of the partners meets someone and falls in love again with someone else. The love they feel for the long time partner will pale in comparison to the "in love". As for the OP. Are you dumping him to manipulate him into acting like you want him too? Not a good situation. Either accept him the way he is or do both of you a favor and leave him alone. Manipulating someone to be or do what you want is not fair or healthy. |

Manipulating someone to be or do what you want is not fair or healthy. Which is going on in this case. She is manipulating the other partner with her "i want to but i don't want to" nonsense. If you don't want to be with someone, then just cut and run- don't jerk the other person around, as it's just disrespectful and dishonest. And this is coming from a person who's been a victim of that malarkey, too. |

been there, done that. i've learned that when you been dumping a guy repeatedly for acting like a prick... then that's probably because he's a prick. and will probably remain a prick. when you go back to a man that you KNOW is a prick its not love, its habit, its lust, its the thrill of drama, its everything else BUT love. i realized eventually that i had better things to do with my life and moved on. however if this sort of thing still floats your boat then knock yourself out Hmm on the phone the other night you said you liked it when I was a prick to you you are the lone exception patsy |

Grow up my friend. A person can and will only do what you will them to do. Before you can love him you must love yourself first. If you love being second, third, fourth etc.... then keep on doing what your doing. However if you want change it must start in you first. His D**K OR TOUNGUE IS NIT THAT GREAT FOR YOU TO BE TREAATING YOURSELF LIKE STEP CHILD!
