I nudge. A nudge just says "Hey, I notice you." If they nudge me back, it means they're interested. Then I nudge again by blowing a kiss, which says, "I noticed you noticing me." That usually leads to a conversation. A nudge is an easy way to say hi without any expectations or rejections. They can respond or ignore and nobody gets hurt feelings. A nudge is flattering.

i do not like the "nudge" feature...good god it's the internet...if you're too shy to send and e-mail...then there's no hope whatsoever for you...so just tell the world goodbye now...and stop nudging me

I know I've gotten nudges from people I never spoke to =/ and if it's an older guy it kind of creeps me out..especially if he keeps doing it Lol. And then he e-mailed me... once... I don't understand you men sometimes. =P But I would be afraid to nudge somebody as well cuz I too am shy! : D

I've been known to nudge a friend or two ... Sometimes a hug or kiss to let them know I'm thinking about them ... ...sometimes a kick in the butt when I haven't heard back from them in a while No you dont! You pelt rolos at them!

I like to send random people "kick in the ass" and then they wonder, "Do I know this joker or what"? Its funny and all in good fun. Like wavign to a jogger when you drive by and then they are wondering who the heck was that guy?

i send nudges to strangers all the time. never the kissing one.. and rarely the hug one.. mainly the wink and if i feel frisky i'll kick them in the butt. it almost always gets a response and i use it AS my ice breaker. :)

If I felt motivated to contact someone I had never interacted with before -- which I never do -- I would at least try to send something a little more personalized and hopefully thought-provoking. Nudges are more like "Hi, I was thinking about you, hope you're doing OK!" -- more of something you'd share with someone you're already on good terms with -- to me, anyway.

Do you do these nudges to people you've never even spoken to? If so, WHY?? Wouldn't an ice breaker be better if it were an email? I just don't get it. I prefer an email over a nudge, personally...but have seen a couple recent "I nudge to see if there is interest" posts so maybe I'm in the minority there.
