Welcome to spring that lovely time of the year when that grass turns green again and the spring flowers appear! bigsmile It is also the time when you head feels like it will explode or the inside of your nose is on fire or any of those 'fun' sinus pressue issues. Your head is cloudy and you can't focus on anything.

So, what are your solutions? What OTC works for you? Any suggestions for pain relief or pressure?

Tylenol Sinus for me. Shots for my girls. They both have really really bad sinus issues. Their dad used to smoke and it was very bad. Now that he is gone (passed away) I don't smoke and don't let anyone in my house smoke. Try to keep it swept at least twice a day and change bed sheets twice a week more if they are really bad.

I feel for all of you that have severe sinus issues. I have them slightly and can usually get rid of them with Tylenol Sinus but I do feel for those who suffer. I know a lot who do. It seems miserable.

It could still be worse. What is miserable for me is that I can't think straight when I get bad sinus pressure. ohwell The clartin and mortin should kick in soon!

Does anyone try any homeopathic remedies? Humidifier at night?

Zyrtec D was the bomb for me....a few years back.

My new drug of choice is Singulair. It's awesome.... last 24 hours too. My son takes it as well...

I have seasonal Allergies, some times it's not so bad, sometimes it is. Just depends on the weather and how clean things might be etc.

I normally take Clartin D, it seem's to work alright. Although I have thought about taking Zyrtec D I heard it makes a person tired so I am a bit iffy about taking it.

Loratadine 10mg generic... (little white pill)

It's the same thing as Claritin but half the price... Don't pay for the label my friend..

Check out a 'Neti Pot', you can get them at a pharm. or even Meijers.
Its a tea pot/Aladdins Lamp looking thing. Fill it with saline solution and rinse out sinuses. Has been very effective for me in reducing inflammation and sinus infections.

And good old ephedrine.
