This solution is not as goofy as it sounds. If you can stand wearing a mask, get a good quality, cheap, dust mask (the ones that look like you are going into surgery, not the ones that look like a world war I gas mask), and wear it during sleep. It will block pollen, dust, and many things that are seasonal. It will not have any effect on chemicals. This trick won't help during the day but sometimes the reduced load of allergens is enough to help enough to give otc or your body a fighting chance without the overload of medications. The better sleep is worth something. Think HEPA.
