Umm ..ok , bleh this is something that I'm thinkin about , something
that happens and it probebly happens to a lot of people , but its one
of those weird things , judging a book by its cover , or a person ,,
just by what you see or perceive by their appearance , from photo's or
even if they see you in the real world ..
I think people must look at me and think , oh she must get lots of
dates , or well I look like I might be very functional , or this and
that... I dont know but it is hard for some people ok ,,and they might
LOOK ok but that does not mean that they are ok ..

does that make any sense ???

yes it makes sense, that's why I don't judge, I am not one to judge, we
are all different. A person could look like one person and be someone
totally different. get to know someone, and more often than not you will
be suprised

In my experience, there's a tendency for many people to take a sort of
lazy attitude towards getting to know others. It's a lot easier to just
look and say, "Yup, she's ______________" and let it go at that.

Some of us are a little more interested in things that lie below the
obvious. And it takes longer to get to those, but a lot of times, it's
worth it.

Superficiality is the word of the day, though. People just don't get
the concept of "deferred gratification" anymore. It's now, now, now.

But when you stick to now, now, now, you can miss out on a lot of people
who have so much more to offer....

As for looking OK and not being OK -- very very true. I've known people
who wore facades for years, just so no one would ever see that they were
falling apart inside. And sometimes for their own protection.

But the key is: who is willing to take the time to see past the facade?
Because, if they're not, they will never do you any good anyway.

change , just wish people would think a little deeper or just be less
close minded and not such patterned thinkers , but I guess people choose
to think the way that they do .. or just dont think to look at things

Everybody feel that way at times purple. I heard a saying once, don't
judge your insides by other people's outsides. A lot of people that look
good on the outside are really f***ed up inside. And everybody's got
problems, so I don't judge people until I get to know them. I realize
people do that though, and I don't worry about how they perceive me, I
know who I am, it doesn't really matter what others think. My friends
love me, that's all that matters.
