Well... this first date was more or less a "meet and greet" than anything else. And I just didn't wanna be a cad and keep the date up all night on a work night and all. I AM a gentleman, you know?

Because I am, that's why! Like I said, though- this first meeting was more a meet-and-greet. If things went well, then we'd go again and see what happens. No muss, no fuss, no drama. It's how I roll.

We had dinner... had some stimulating conversation... walked around the streets in each other's arms. There was nothing in the form of drama... no fist fights... no silent treatment... and no flakiness. So the date went well for a first time, I'd say.

I never said I LOST faith. I only said the last few dates and relationships I've been in were complete and total failures. There's a big difference, you know? And yeah- I just went in to the date without any expectations or preconceived notions. I didn't expect to be getting into anything other than the date I was in. This can't be said for some of the wimmins I've dated in the past- they thought too much, and they let their foggied minds get the best of them.

(((OC))) I think so Moof.. I started coughing this afternoon and it's just taken a speedboat adventure through me... I don't have time to be sick, I stayed home today b/c my body was shot out from the weekend of unpacking, etc. But tomorrow is final tax revisions for filing on Wed. and then of course new year budget presentations the balance of the week...

Hey, OC. How they hangin'! Oooh... nothing's worse than getting sick when you've got a TON of responsibilities to take care of. Not only are you not physically up to the task at hand (due to the ailment), but you end up not being mentally up to the task, either. And THAT can result in either lessened productivity or increased error rates, or both. Hope you get better soon, Prncs.
