You know what I was talking about.. |
Actually, I do. I just remember a vet telling me that it was the fat content in chocolate that will ruin a dog or cat- they metabolize fats much differently than we do and will be in deep poo-poo if they eat chocolate.
I wouldn't be surprised if the caffeine in chocolate was found to be detrimental to a pet's health as well, though. |

I was watching a pet show on discovery or animal channel and it said the caffiene thing... I had always wondered. And you know how spoiled my baby is...
Yeah. Chances are you'd be givin' ol' Splash all the chocolate you could if it wasn't deadly to him, huh.
Yes, but have to watch his health...
Yeah- you wouldn't wanna end up with a whaledog or something.
No way I want him lean...
Then stop feeding him chocolate then!
my puppy doesn't get chocolate silly....
Of course not. You want him lean, right?
Yes I do... Oh I can't wait to get another... Have to save up
ANOTHER dog? I'd make sure I was able to handle a second dawg first... and NOT in terms of whether the apartment will allow you to have one, either. A second dog can be a handful.

Hey, Izzie.
((((Izzie))))
Oh I'm sure, Splash is pretty well behaved. A puppy isn't "that" much trouble... I don't know, I want one but it's like another kid,not so sure... |
Yeah. Getting a second dog is kinda like getting another kid. Another unruly kid, at that.
If you DO decide to get another dog, are you gonna get the same breed or are you gonna mix things up and get something different, like a weiner-dog? |
I'd get the same kind.. I'm partial to boxers...
Really? Any particular reason? You had one growing up? One pulled you out of a flaming car wreck you were in? One spoke to you in English? Or are they just what you find appealing in a dog?

Hi BL welcome
You're right, they are great dogs.. I adore mine, he's like one of the family... That's why Moof teases me... But I'm sure he'd love a playmate and from what I hear the older boxer helps to train the puppies... |
