If you had to give up one of your 5 sense,
seeing smelling touching tasting hearing which one are you prepared to lose and why... |

tasting
becouse that's the one you need less. And you eat everything without to have to puque. |

tasting
that way i can eat solely for energy and attain some semblance of culinary self control. |

Hearing... no more fart jokes, nagging wives, Screaming babies... etc etc etc..
God I would die if I could taste anything |

I would give up farting. That's one of the 5 senses- right?

Being partially deaf, one ear doesn't play so well anymore...I don't know...I would be sad to have only silence and vibration....my life is music, it's the music of life around me...
Sight, I have been blind for a week after a welding accident....it's doable...I have imagination, and am naturally tactile...I know I can 'see' in my mind's eye...however I would be sad to never see a sun rise again, a sun set... or my babies', babies faces... Taste... when I said I am tactile, like a small child, I need to often, 'taste' things to understand them... to no longer taste sweet fresh picked strawberries, a lover's kiss, chocolate.....the sharp tang of a not quite ripe mango...I would miss not having taste. Touch.... please don't ever take away my sense of touch.... these hands read life... they know when my child is sick, when the cake is cooked, the shower is just right, the curve of a treetrunk, the down of a babies head... Smell... the aroma of fresh brewed coffee, dark chocolate, fresh sunkissed sheets on the line, the first frangipani of the season.... jasmine on a summer's night....the explosion of smells walking into a greengrocers... I am my sensory aliveness... it is the creative part of me. |
