Ummm...Rush is part of the problem when he puts his spin on things and distorts the truth and people think his lies are the truth.

Rush is a shock jock. I'm amazed at the numbers of threads that come up about him. even the people that complain about him....is giving him free press. Rush wouldn't have a job if people didn't make him so popular with whether they like him or not

Is Rush any more of the problem then threads like this..I have never known complaining to do anything positive...and people with differing views would go nuts if you had to print only the facts..without your spin on the subject...So if you don't like his ideas..don't listen or come up with ideas that are better then his and offer them for discussion...just seems like we keep repeating ourselves over and over..

Don't we all have some sense of morbidity in us...how many people slow down at an accident scene and then get disgusted when they see something horrific??? It is our nature to seek things that challenge us.

Actually complaining does have value. It points out the contradictions on each side. What we don't seem to do in here is find a compremise which is not always possible if one side or the other refuses to budge. The repetition also has a bit of value in that those just enterning the forum will not miss out on things they may never have been exposed to. So if repetition is annoying and I agree that it can be. That could be due to our being here too much..

I have a couple questions regarding where you are going and who will be there.

Here's one...if it is so swell why wait? I know suicide is frown on but what about death fighting for the cause of God, Christ, other Christians...you know...your team? Personally I am fairly sure God doesn't take sides but...since I so frequently hear people of various social and political causes proclaim God is on their side I am assuming there may be people that actually believe it. So is dying in the cause of God even when you know you are going to die the same as suicide? Do you go to heaven?

I better leave that line of thinking alone for now. Neocons and other so called Christians along with religious wingnuts are dangerous enough to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness already. No need to suggest you all start any new wars or go around bombing more clinics, or invading countries or torturing others...all in the name of God.

I am assuming, and please correct me if I am wrong, that you posts indicates that you believe only Christians will ascend to Heaven to what is it...sit at the right hand of God? Will Catholics get in? After all they are Christians but they confess to the priest and not the Heavenly Father. Is this an impediment to them in the whole ascending to heaven business? What about Anglicans? After all they allow gay pastors don't they and well...I would dare say many other so called Christians find gays quite objectionable. So, what sort of Christians will be there with you? Will Catholics and Anglicans be there?

This leads me to another question.

Do you really think there are streets of gold? Is the Muslim idea of the afterlife so different?
