Topic: Why do we | |

get so attached to our pets? I consider my cat my best friend. He's been with me since I was 12. He sleeps with me at night, and follows me everywhere. When I don't come home at night, he lays on my bed and meows for me. I know when he goes I'm going to cry, and miss him alot. I can't help but look at him from time to time and realize, we only have about three more years together. Why do we allow ourselves to feel this way? i could replace your cat when its gone. |

I have cats, and I of course feel the same... "Let go of that which you are afraid to lose." - Yoda
I say this to myself everyday, because nothing in this life can we take with us at the end of it... God Bless! |

I don't know what I would do without my dog-I don't think anybody has loved me as much as she does.

I swear my cat can understand me, the other night I was watching a movie, and I got a feeling that something bad was going to happen to a cat in the movie, so I told my cat to look away, he walked out of the room as if he understood me, LOL. It was kinda funny. Yep, animals understand us better than we think. I can practically communicate with my cat just by looking at her, if I have to even look. They really can sense our energy alone, like Caesar Milan uses. Sometimes I talk to Ruby (my cat) as if having a conversation and she'll meow when I pause. I'll give her certain looks and she'll return them. And she can sense when I'm mad and goes and hides. |
