Just boiled some asparagus in the pan with a little bit of water as I usually do. Sampled one. Tasted kinda bland. Put a good shot of balsamic vinegar in and let em go another couple of minutes. Pretty tasty.

I usually spritz them with EVOO, sea salt and fresh ground pepper. Throw them on the Grill. and WOW, They're Great.

Will try it your way too. Always looking for something different.
Variety is the spice of life and I like to spice things up, especially in the kitchen.

I love asparagus just about any way but I will try the vinegar. Good tip.
