It was pretty boring actually. It was a wee bit TOO moody and dramatic, with weird comic-book wipes that didn't make much sense.
It's almost like Ang Lee got a little too wrapped up in the storm-und-drang element of the IP and totally abandoned the action except for a couple of scenes. In short, you could kinda understand why they remade the re-make with Ed Norton.

I guess so.. I liked the one he was in.. When I get my nails done, I get to see a lot of movies I won't rent...

So they're playing B-movies at the pedicure places now?

They play all the new releases I guess... Stuff I haven't seen so who knows.. I don't really watch movies except for when I'm there... LOL

Yeah. There has to be SOME incentive for you to get your nails done there, right?

Well that and they do a good job...

So they DON'T make a habit of rippin' nails out, eh?

No they're pretty good.. Of course there is one lady that will tear your fingers up... I won't let her near me.. I only let the main girl there work on my nails...

Yeah. You gotta be careful with the nail-care types-
I saw a story on the news where a lady ended up getting a REALLY bad case of herpes on her hands thanks to an unsanitary nail place. Her case was SO bad that she's gotta wear rubber gloves because the outbreaks are almost constantly popping up on her fingers and stuff. |

oh that's awful.. Makes me a little nervous now... I saw Paula Abdul on the news the other morning and she was talking about how she got a flesh eating type disease on her finger from a nail place...
|

Yeah. There are some serious things that can happen at nail places. It often helps to check out their health department credentials to see if they're on the up-and-up- that's the first indication of whether or not they're at least TRYING to be safe.

I went to one place 'ONE TIME' that had those little tubs you get from the hospital and garbage bags in their pedicure tubs.. I asked why they wouldn't use the tubs, it would seem much easier and get the value out of the price they paid for the chairs.. they told me that they can't pass the health inspections any other way...

Well... at least you have a day or two during the week off. In a way, it's actually better, as you can take care of your business much more efficiently that way.
