Topic: clackers?

Has anybody else seen those clackers on the back of pick-up trucks? What's the deal? Is it suppose to prove something about the driver? Is it some kind of political statment? Am I lacking something because I don't have a pair dangling from my trailer hitch?

I've never heard of them! Are they like 'brass balls' that hang and smack together with the movement of the vehicle? I assume Probably just another annoying noise maker like cow bells on hitches, or the new 'whistle' exhaust tips becoming more popular - and annoying!

Can't be any more annoying than hearing the ghetto-thump of a $3,000 stereo from a half mile away, coming from a $100 P.O.S. beater car.

(sorry for the sarcasm....its just one of those days. lol)
