Does anyone have a remedy for poison Ivy that I have now had for over a
week and continues to spread. Please let me know I am open to anything...within reason |

I had it last month. I used Caladryl Clear and it went away fast.

DAB IT WITH RUBBING ALCOHOL-COUPLE TIMES A DAY --BE GONE IN NO
TIME..

Since Saturday I have had 1 steroid shot, one 5 day pack of pills, and
now been given a thirty day script for Prednison. I have been using hydrocortizone since day one and nothing seems to help. I started the calamine lotion this evening. |

calamine lotion to relieve the itch, and maybe an antihistamine such as Benadryl. Then all you can do is give it time. |

Hey LAMOM I had a bonfire and a bunch of people over and I guess I was
burning poison Ivy and did not realize it. 10 out of the 15 are covered with Poison. 27 years old and getting it for the first time.. |

You can get calamine lotion OTC at most drugstores for itching.
Benedryl is also good for itching and is used to block histamines. Try not to scratch as that may cause the poison ivy to spread and be sure to practice good handwashing. Hope you get over it soon, I've had it before; poison ivy is a real PITA. SheNerd :) |

I can only take the Benadryl at night because I have the academy all
day. Beneadryl knocks me out. SongBirrd can I get this Caladryl from WalMart? |
