She was bursting at the seams...Barely able to contain her joy at
finding what she thought, or hoped was THE ONE...Finally her heart could
rest..Safe in the knowledge of love..Slippijng ever farther into the
bliss of things she imagined the marriage to come...Children happily
running in the yard. The pitter patter of feet in the early morning from
downstairs, the smell of his aftershave...Close next to her on the
bed...Her heart skipped a beat and her breathing grew quick
shallow...Pulse racing she rached out to him...To hols his hand...To
feel the warm caress of fate,but.....Nothing was there...
She opened her eyes....SILENCE
The cold room flooded in on her..
In the distance the sound of the bedroom clock ticking..
Reminding her
Telling her that time was up..
Biological eons are passing...
