Mother Allegedly Tried To Get Daughter Pregnant Reporting

Police say a Uniontown mother drugged her daughter in an attempt to get her pregnant.





numSlides of totalImages A Uniontown woman and her boyfriend are in the Fayette County Prison today charged with giving the woman's 13-year-old daughter drugs and alcohol so that the man could get her pregnant.

Police say the mother was no longer able to have children and asked her teenage daughter to have her boyfriend's child.

When the girl said no, it set off two months' worth of events that are now shocking the Uniontown community.

Police say on at least two occasions the mother spiked her daughter's soda and tea with alcohol and sleeping pills so that the mother's boyfriend - 40-year old Duane Calloway - could sexually assault her.

Police were able to interview the victim after she told her father what was happening.

According to a criminal complaint, they were also able to recover a text message Calloway allegedly sent to the mother saying, "...u need 2 give her more pills then u have been given her I want this done n over with don't u so let's get this rite this time..."

The mother was escorted to her arraignment by her pastor from the Church of God in Christ in Uniontown.

He says he doesn't think she is capable of the charges against her and will support her in this ordeal.

The victim is currently in protective custody.

The mother is being held in the Fayette County Prison on $100,000 bond.

Calloway is being held in the Fayette County Prison. He's also unable to post $150,000 bond.
