Something bothered me all day Thursday. One of those little- big bothers that just won’t go away.

It wasn’t till late Thursday night that it kinda cleared up while watching the news. The problem wasn’t the news itself. It was what I saw in the background. Body language and gestures.

The Queen and England treated him all right.

The rest of them acted like he had cooties.

(kind of a strange way to treat the LEADER of the FREE world.)

Having never experienced this before I am outraged and hurt in a way that I can not describe (and I never want to feel again).

I may not agree with his policies but he IS the President of the United States of America.

Elected by the People of that same United States.

Generations of American’s gave their blood so that he can stand where he is.

Unfortunately even they can see how screwed up his policies are. If Condoleeza Rice was president she would be treated with a lot more respect. Even Colon Powell would likewise be received better. The reason the English and other world leaders do not like him is because he did everything they told him not to do so far borrowing more money and spending it on almost nothing but social programs.

It isn't his color they do not like. Besides, he is a mulatto. At least Condi is Black all the way. I do not myself care for Obama not because of color. I don't like his policies or his arrogance!

Adventure,

I see it so differently. He had crowds showing up to see him. People even wanted his autograph.

I generally don't focus on sore heads or stuffy people, so I didn't pay any attention other than to those that respected and liked him.

Just as I pretty much ignore the sore and stuffy anywhere. I don't find him as arrogant as let's say Bush who wasn't loved by anyone but his supporters. Actually I find Obama more confident than arrogant. But most presidents have a bit of an ego and they better have considering the crap they will get thrown at them by those around them.

There is no denying Obamas popularity amongst the european citizens. His problem is that Sarkozy and Merkel are members of center right parties. Gordon Brown is going to get trounced in the next election, and the right wing Torries are going to take power. That is a trifecta of obstructionism on the horizon.

It may have something to do with his unworthy treatment of the British Prime Minister.

Tsk, tsk. Remember the United States invented democracy and freedom.

The French Republic and the British Parliament and such only preceded us because of time-travelling State Department officials.

Al Gore invented the Internet!

In all seriousness though, America has set standards a lot of the world looks up to but unfortunately now we are the bad example because our greatness went to our heads and European big money has been playing all the games that helped America into the hole we are in. The thing that sucks calling America "the free world" is media crap. Nothing here is free. Taxes across the board along with every single fee they charge going up and up and up.

What the United States did do was establish a government that was supposed to be autonomous but Jurassic Cretins have since polluted our government with Socialism which is European! Shame on you! We were a Republic Democracy without a higher authority while your countries answered to Monarchs and Kings under parliaments.

America is also responsible for many of the most recent advances in science like the computer you are on, the TV you watch, the telephones you call friends on, Mass Production, modern agriculture, and the list goes on. You are aware that it was the American Military that came up with the internet and not Al Gore? Al Gore also came up with Pirosky Pockets (yummmm). He even single handedly is going to end our energy crisis with gas at $5 a gallon.

Let's face it, Obama is a face and nothing more. He has to prove himself and so far all he has proven is to be another Jimmy Carter. Go ahead and hug Obama if you want. I just want to hit him in the face with a banana cream pie.

At least we Americans do not like the idea of being taxed to death and I hope England and France enjoy their economies in the trash because you are in the same hole we are in for the EXACT same reasons.

Here is my imitation of the French government...

"The Germans are coming!"
"WE SURRENDER."
"But they are not here yet!"
"Why Wait?"

The soldiers who stood on the Mangino Line (Yes I bet I did spell it wrong, sue me) had the nuggets of a true Gaul. They were not about to give the Germans anything when they invaded. General DeGaul couldn't get to England fast enough. I respect the French Partisans FAR more than the French Government. They had the brass to fight for what they wanted and that was a free France. I feel sorry for France because their leadership is far dumber than ours at least for now. Now instead of a free people the people want to live for free. So go ahead and bag on us all you want. Europe is not any better!flowers
