So your first crush- miss congeniality morphed into miss cottage cheese thighs. When my biker buds said that- I was really in tears laughing. My sides were sore for days.

Yes and it happened just over 2 hours ago. I was at a convenience store buying a salad of all things when this gal from across the counter told me to have a nice day. From that point on how could I not!

crush on someone? Can be a movie star, singer, etc, I had a crush on a girl back in middle school. It took me weeks to work up the courage to go up and talk to her. She rejected me right on the spot when I finally DID work up that courage. Little did I know that would be the story of my dating life. ![]() |

Some guy named Tony I can't remember his last name, I was in 7th grade and I loaned him a pencil.
One day I was late for class and the halls were empty I turnned from my locker to get where I was supposed to be and there he was! I almost dove into my locker. I never talked to him except the day of The Pencil! |

Yes, Rodney a HOT senior down the street and I was only an 8th grader. He told me, "I'd rather be dead than have red on the head"...broke my heart.

His name was Brian, he was shorter than me and a wrestler (4 yrs ahead of me in school). He broke my heart the day he patted me on the head and told me I was cute...have hated that word since LOL

The summer after 1st or 2nd grade, I believe, at a summer camp I attended for 2 weeks annually. His name was Chris, and the entire 2 weeks we were inseparable-his group went with mine on all daily activities. (Nightly quarters were separate, naturally). We held hands a lot, though caused a mild "scandel" amongst my girl friends there when he kissed me on the cheak. Ahhh...the age of innocence!!

2nd grade - Ronnie. He was the smartest kid in the class and had an odd sense of humor...two qualities that still attract me to people today.

Yep. First girl I ever kissed and who I spent 14 years of my life with many years later.
Those first crushes, like everything else, never turn out as you envision. |
