This is a new topic that I have never seen before on JSH. I am doing
some advocacy work for an epileptic person, and I am trying to get the courts to provide for a personal care attendant. They have said they don't have the money for special accomodations, and I know that they are a public entity and according to ADA law, they are supposed to make accomodations. How do I go about this, and who do I contact? Does anyone have any experience with these issues. Please reply to Duffy on Website. Thank You.

There must be some type of advocacy organization in your area.
In my area we have the "Coalition for People with Disabilities". They fight for PWD and their rights. |
